The Finn Juhl Award 2009

Hans Sandgen Jakobsen was May 12.th honoured with the Finn Juhl Award.

This is the 7.th time the awarding is taking place.

The award is founded in 2003 and administrated by the Wilhelm Hansen Foundation. The price is founded on the royalties

from the sales of the

Finn Juhl furniture.

Awarded are persons who have made a special effort within the fields of furniture-design or architecture.

The award was handed over at the Ordrupgaard Museum.

A number of Hans Sandgren Jakobsen designs are displayed in the café area of the museum.
